Why FF has slumped

RECENTLY the Minister for Justice, Dermot Ahern, said Fianna Fáil’s poor showing in the latest opinion poll was the price the party paid for steering the country through difficult economic times.

This is not true. The reason for Fianna Fáil’s poor ratings is the price the party is paying for steering the country into difficult economic times.

A big difference – and until they admit that, the party will continue on its downward slide (or as they might say themselves, their negative increase in support).
