Suicide has left its mark on every parish in Ireland and that lends particular relevance to the Finglas Suicide Awareness Week, an area of Dublin which has seen 20 suicides between 2005 and April 2007.

Reflecting a nationwide pattern, most of the victims were young men. Today’s report contains harrowing case histories of loved ones who have to grapple with the confusion and sorrow every suicide brings.
