FF must close ranks

AFTER the callous campaign of personal vilification against the Taoiseach, as a rank-and-file Fianna Fáil member I appeal to all my party colleagues to close ranks, bury our animosities and embrace our political heritage.

And let the members of the parliamentary party show us in the rearguard that they have the courage to move forward in a spirit of tolerance and magnanimity to ensure the future of this great party.

The country awaits such a response from us.
