Clare roads reopen after weeks of floods
All roads in Springfield, Clonlara are now passable after weeks of flooding.
Clare County Council has confirmed that a number of roads have reopened in flood-affected parts of North and Southeast Clare as water levels continue to slowly recede.
The N67 at New Quay has reopened but a number of local primary routes remain flooded in the North Clare area.
The ESB is to reduce the flow of water through the Parteen Weir again today.
The rate will be dropped to 265 cubic metres per second - down from its peak of almost 500 over Christmas.

Water levels in Lough Derg have lowered over the past weeks but a risk of flooding remains for areas downstream of the weir including Springfield, Montpelier, Castleconnell, Mountshannon (Annacotty) and the University of Limerick.
