€140,000 worth of cocaine seized

Cocaine with an estimated street value of €140,000 has been seized by Gardaí in Dublin.

Detectives from the Garda Drugs Unit made the discovery when they stopped and searched a car in Lucan this evening.

A man in his mid 30s was arrested at the scene.

Then, in a follow up operation, a house was searched and an amount of cash was seized.

Another man in his mid 30's was arrested there.

Both men are currently detained at Ronanstown Garda Station - however, it is expected they will appear before Dublin District Court tomorrow morning.
