Gardaí continue to question two in connection with Donegal fires

Gardaí in Donegal investigating suspected arson attacks are continuing to question two men in Buncrana Garda Station.

The men, aged 20 and 21, are being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

Since early July, there have been 11 incidents of fires in the Buncrana area.

The attacks have been random with some of the properties targeted including unoccupied buildings, farm sheds, vehicles and a health centre.

These latest arrests brings to seven the number of people arrested in connection with the attacks.

So far, two men have been charged over the incidents.
