Gardaí in Cork are seeking the public's help in identifying a man whose body was found in the River Blackwater yesterday afternoon.

Gardaí in Cork are seeking the public's help in identifying a man whose body was found in the River Blackwater yesterday afternoon.

The man is believed to be Eastern European and is described as being in his mid 40s to early 50s.

He' is approximately five foot 10 inches in height, of slim build, with black hair, going grey and balding at the front.

At the time of his death, the man was wearing a dark blue hooded jacket with gold buttons, a woolen multi coloured jumper, a black t-shirt with a logo, dark blue jeans and white, black and red Reebok runners.
