Addict jailed for 12 years for two robberies

A drug addict has been sentenced to 12 years for trying to rob a 94-year-old man and robbing a Iranian tourist with a scissors.

Anthony Maughan (aged 29) pushed the elderly man back inside his home and demanded money from him. He was scared off when a concerned neighbour knocked on the door after becoming suspicious.
