The majority of disabled people do not disclose their disability when applying for a job, according to a group campaigning on their behalf.

The Association for Higher Education Access and Disability says its research has found that six-in-10 third-level graduates with a disability manage to secure employment.

However, it says 80% do not disclose that they have a disability when applying for work.

It says almost 90% of Leaving Cert pupils who are accommodated in their exams because of a verified disability do not disclose their disability on the CAO form.
