Kobe McDonald is a well-known figure in Ireland by now thanks to his exploits with Mayo but Down Under, where he now resides, it’s a different story.

For now, at least.

After helping Mayo end their 75-year wait to get their hands back on the Sam Maguire, thanks to their three-point victory over Kerry in the All-Ireland football final, McDonald quickly embarked on his new challenge in Australia.

But only after a couple of weeks of celebrating, of course.
