Priests back Drogheda colleague on concelebrated mass
Three-quarters of priests are in favour of a protestant minister concelebrating mass at a Catholic church.
A new poll reveals the majority of the catholic clergy are backing a Drogheda priest who allowed a Church of Ireland minister say Easter Sunday mass.
A number of Bishops have hit out at Father Iggy O'Donovan for jointly celebrating the service with Reverand Michael Graham, to a mixed congregation.
However, a survey published in today’s Sunday Independent shows over 76% of Irish priests feel it was a brave move that should be commended.
