ASTI condemns students' march on Dail

ASTI General Secretary Charlie Lennon has condemned today's planned march to the Dail by second level students as "unhelpful".

Mr Lennon said while he appreciated the concern of students, their action would not help to resolve anything in his body's pay dispute with the government.

He again criticised the government for "being prepared to let this dispute go on and on" and said the ASTI wanted talks on the issue as soon as possible.
