Cameron invited to Rising commemorations

Taoiseach Enda Kenny has asked British Prime Minister David Cameron to visit Ireland for commemorations of the 1916 Rising.

Visiting Downing St yesterday, Mr Kenny also said that he thought the four issues Britain wants negotiated over its EU membership could be discussed successfully.

The comments came after they held talks on the possibility of Britain exiting the EU, ahead of negotiations among member states on the matter in Brussels next month.
