Weekend for juggling boat races and acts of kindness

It’s a weekend for the great outdoors with fingers crossed for fine weather and lots of events in the south-west for locals and tourists.

In Courtmacsherry Bay, tides will favour the Strand Races on Sunday evening in the West Cork village. The first race is at 5.30pm.

The feature event of the eight-race card is the fourth of the evening, the Lislee Derby for the O’Donovan Brothers Perpetual Trophy.
