Two men due in court over body found in bog

Two men will appear in court this morning in relation to the murder of a man whose body was found in a bog in north Kerry during a planned Garda search on Sunday.

The men, aged 19 and 28 years, are due to appear before a sitting of Newcastle West District Court in connection with the probe into the death of the man believed to be Bruno da Souza Silva, 28, a Brazilian.

He had been living with his partner in Gort, Co Galway, from where had been missing for just under a month. He was last seen in Ballyduff, Co Kerry, in mid-February. His body was found at Shroneowen, in Tullamore bog, about 8km from Listowel, on Sunday.
