It was lights, camera, action at the Convention Centre in Dublin last night for the tenth annual Irish Film and Television Awards.

Love/Hate the big winner at IFTAs

It was lights, camera, action at the Convention Centre in Dublin last night for the tenth annual Irish Film and Television Awards.

Irish crime-drama Love/Hate and Lenny Abrahamson's film, What Richard Did took home the most gongs.

Love/Hate took home six awards, including Best Drama, Best Director and TV Writer.

Winning big in the film categories, What Richard Did, picked up five awards, including the award for the Best Film, Jack Reynor for Lead Actor in a Film and Lenny Abraham-son for Best Director.

Support actor in TV went to Andrew Scott for his role in Sherlock.

Domhnall Gleeson was presented with the best Supporting Actor in Film award for his performance in Anna Karennina. Actresses Ruth Bradley won for her Lead performance in Grabbers, whilst Brid Brennan won the IFTA for her Supporting Actress role, for Shadow Dancer.

Argo won the IFTA for Best International Film while Daniel Day-Lewis was voted Best International Actor for Lincoln and Marion Cotiyard for Best International Actress for Rust and Bone.

Chris O' Dowd's Moone Boy scooped the gong for Best Entertainment Show.
