Watch the beer guzzling race that will never make the Olympics

The first ever intercontinental 'Beer Mile World Classic' was held in England with participants travelling from around the world to compete.

The rules differ from usual races, each competitor needs four 355ml beers that are a minimum 5% ABV.

They run four laps, downing a beer before each one - should they get sick they then have to run an extra penalty lap.

Canadian, Corey Bellemore, won the elite men's breaking the world record with a time of 4:34:35. On some laps, Corey drank his beer in 8 seconds.

But it's not just a competition for the boys as the woman's elite competition was won by American Erin O'Mara.

You'll need a strong stomach to 'Beer' it

Remember, always drink responsibly.
