A 17-acre holding at Newboro, Patrickswell is one of four farms being auctioned on July 1.
GVM Auctioneers are holding full day of auctions on July 1 totalling some 400 acres.
The auction extravaganza at the Woodlands Hotel in Adare (with simultaneous online auction), begins with the sale of 61.5-acre farm at 11.30am.
This holding is at Coonagh West, close to the M18 and Limerick City and will be offered in two lots, all guiding €700,000:
- house for renovation and outbuildings on 11.5 acres;
- 50 acres of low-lying land.
At 12.30pm, it’s the turn of a 17-acre top-quality holding at Newboro, Patrickswell, 10km southwest of Limerick.

At 2pm, the largest of the holdings comes under the hammer — a 220-acre property at Elton, Knocklong, being sold jointly with John Flynn Auctioneers.

The prime roadside holding is offered in two lots (145 and 75 acres) as well as the entire.
According to Tom, this auction offers a “tremendous opportunity to acquire two top-class holdings both within easy reach of one another.”

The final auction of the day is at 3.30pm; a 102-acre “truly superb farm” at Clounanna, Patrickswell, offered in two lots only; 49.5 and 52.5 acres.
