Coming up for online auction on Friday, 18th of September next is a 46-acre farm near Portroe, County Tipperary.

The holding is being sold by Nenagh-based auctioneer REA Eoin Dillon, with the online platform for the sale being provided by the experienced LSL Auctions.

The farm is at Shesharoe; kilometre or so from Portroe, just south of Garrykennedy Harbour and 12km west of Nenagh.

“This is a well-located parcel of land and it boasts extensive road frontage,” says Eoin. “The farm is all in one block and divided into easily manage fields and paddocks, with extensive farm roadways and piped water throughout.”

The holding has large farmyard, featuring a number of outbuildings. These include a 5-bay calving/calf shed, 60 cubicles with automatic scrapers, slatted feeding pens and a covered feed space, cattle crush, silage base, 3-bay double-sided slatted shed with covered central feed passage, an old 8-unit milking parlour and a 3-bay machinery shed. There’s also a number of assorted semi-derelict stone outbuildings, offering further potential.

With mains water and electricity, this farm represents a rare opportunity for a substantial quantity of good acreage. The guide price is €750,000 (€16,300/acre).
