Fourteen people lost their lives to Islamic terrorism in France last week. Over the last few years thousands and thousands of Iraqi and Syrian Christians including little children have been murdered horrifically, dispossessed and exiled by the same Islamic extremists.
According to Article 44.1 of the Constitution, “the State acknowledges that the homage of public worship is due to Almighty God. It shall hold His Name in reverence and shall respect and honour religion.“
At Sunday’s rally in France, Taoiseach Enda Kenny stated “This is a march about terror and cowardice, not religion”. With all respect, this is foolish talk.
