Higher concentrations of DHA should be on sale so we can fight memory loss

About a year ago, I read an article where an American scientist explained that as we age people develop dementia but how it was possible to ward it off by taking daily dietary supplements of DH4.

Higher concentrations of DHA should be on sale so we can fight memory loss

Knowing many friends and people of my own age suffering with dementia and wanting to be cautious, I decided to purchase DH4.

I found that with Omega 3 oil capsules, each capsule only contained 48mg DHA.

In the meantime, I never noticed any difference with my memory.

Last Thanksgiving Day, I accepted an invitation to visit relatives in the USA.

My son brought me to a restaurant where they gave two-for-one drinks and the meals were Thanksgiving cheap.

In company, later, I could not remember the name of that restaurant and several times my son had to jog my memory.

Around the same time, I saw in a Walmart store DHA capsules for sale on their own with each capsule containing 450mg and recommending 900mg or two daily capsules.

After taking two-a-day for a week, I had no trouble remembering the restaurant’s name or the name of a hospital in Ireland in which I had an operation five years ago, one that I had found difficult to remember previously.

Chemical tools in the USA has proved the value of DHA for memory.

It’s ridiculous that DHA cannot be purchased on their own in Ireland as I am sure DHA would be of great benefit to young people studying for exams etc.

It’s also a fact that if a person thinks taking something will do them good, it will - the placebo effect.
