Business movers: O’Byrne is new managing director of Flogas

Here is a selection of people starting new roles with Carbery Group, Flogas Energy, Cairn Homes, Simplifi, Radisson Blu Hotel Cork and Bank of Ireland.
Ellen Hurley has been appointed as a farm succession officer dedicated to Carbery Group’s new Shared Futures generational renewal programme to support farmer shareholders and their families as they plan for the future of their farms. The programme, which builds on Carbery’s existing farmer supports, focuses on the opportunities and long-term future of farming in West Cork. Ellen has held roles with Carbery in the past two years, including sustainability intern and sustainability graduate. She has also worked as an intern with the Environmental Protection Agency. She is a graduate of UCC in Sustainability in Business and Sustainable Development, Agri-Food and Co-ops, and Government and Political Science.
