SYS Financial recruits top stars of hurling and football

Tom Morrissey, five-time All-Ireland winning Limerick hurler, and Paddy Durcan, senior Mayo footballer, have joined SYS Financial

SYS Financial new recruits: Paddy Durcan and Tom Morrissey.

Financial advisory firm SYS Financial has appointed Tom Morrissey, five-time All-Ireland winning Limerick hurler, and Paddy Durcan, senior Mayo footballer, as senior financial planners at the firm.

With over six years of experience in tax and finance, Tom Morrissey is a qualified chartered accountant and chartered tax advisor who previously served as Tax Manager at EY. He holds a Master of Taxation from the Kemmy Business School at UL.

Usually lining out as left-wing forward for Limerick and his local club Ahane, Tom will be at Croke Park to take on Galway in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship final on Sunday, July 19.

Paddy Durcan has over seven years of experience in the financial services industry as a qualified financial adviser, and was most recently wealth manager at Bank of Ireland. He holds a Business Studies degree from DCU and Master of Sport and Exercise Psychology from Ulster University. He is part of this year’s successful Mayo football team.
