New CEO unveiled at Click&Go Holidays

Peter Cullen is named as chief executive officer as travel agency Click&Go Holidays enters a new AI-enhanced phase of growth

Travel agency Click&Go Holidays has named Peter Cullen as chief executive officer as it enters a new AI-enhanced phase of growth and development.

Peter is an experienced leader with the agency, having joined full-time in 2015 after initially working with the company as a consultant. He has held a number of senior roles spanning commercial strategy, marketing, digital and operations, most recently as chief operating officer.

Peter said: “The travel industry is changing rapidly, particularly with the emergence of AI and new technologies, and we have an opportunity to lead that change while retaining what has always differentiated Click&Go Holidays – our people, our expertise and our commitment to our customers.” 

As CEO, Peter will lead the overall business, with a particular focus on continued growth, innovation, technology and customer experience. His appointment comes as Click&Go Holidays continues to expand its position as a leading Irish travel company, combining digital technology with expert travel advice and customer service.

Peter has also been a prominent voice on the impact of technology and artificial intelligence on the travel industry. He has highlighted the many opportunities AI presents for travel companies and consumers, while stressing the continued importance of human expertise and the need to verify AI-generated travel information.

“This balance between technology and the human touch will remain central to Click&Go Holiday’s development,” said Peter.

Founded by Paul Hackett and his co-founders back in 2010, Click&Go Holidays has developed a strong position in both traditional holiday and cruise markets, and has been recognised for its customer service, innovation and digital expertise.

The company was named Best Travel Agency of the Year (over 10 staff members) earlier this year at the Irish Travel Industry Awards.
