Global payroll control platform Payslip has appointed Declan O'Mahoney as its chairperson, a key role as the company continues to enjoy significant growth.

Fidelma McGuirk, founder and CEO of Payslip, said: "Declan's experience in scaling international technology businesses and guiding organisations through periods of sustained growth will be a significant asset to Payslip.

A specialist in helping multinational organisations standardise and automate payroll operations, Payslip has recently made significant investments to accelerate product innovation and global expansion. The company processes more than 1.3 million payslips a month across 125 countries, powers over €5bn in payroll payments globally, and continues to expand its AI-powered Global Payroll Control Platform. 

New chair to advise on Payslip's long-term growth ambitions 

Declan O'Mahoney brings more than three decades of leadership experience in building, scaling and governing international technology companies. He has founded, led and advised high-growth organisations across software, semiconductors, medtech and deep technology, successfully leading businesses through international expansion, commercial growth and strategic acquisitions, including the acquisitions of Firecomms by ZJY in China and HeartSine Technologies by Physio-Control, now part of Stryker.

As founder of Maywentee, O'Mahoney advises technology companies on growth strategy, governance, profitability and shareholder value. He also serves as non-executive chairman of Equal1, a pioneering silicon quantum computing company, and &Open, the global corporate gifting platform, bringing extensive board-level governance and strategic advisory experience to Payslip.
