The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed up 11.23 points to 2,752.50, a rise of 0.41%.

The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed up 11.23 points to 2,752.50, a rise of 0.41%.

Among the risers, Icon added 40c to €15.50; Paddy Power was up 32c to €29.82; Elan Corp lifted 25c to €4.15 and DCC climbed 12c to €21.02.
