The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed up 21.32 points to 2,697.05, a rise of 0.80%.

The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed up 21.32 points to 2,697.05, a rise of 0.80%.

Among the risers, CRH was up 64c to €13.69; Providence Resources added 45c to €3.30; Smurfit Kappa added 12c to €7.80 and Glanbia was up 5c to €3.35.
