Huberman-O’Driscoll wedding boosts Leitrim’s tourism profile

The recent wedding of Brian O’Driscoll and Amy Huberman at in Aughavas, Co Leitrim has resulted in a flood of interest from prospective visitors, local tourism chiefs have revealed.

Leitrim Tourism now aims to capitalise on the popularity of the county with the launch of a new tourism brand ‘Leitrim – explore, experience, enjoy’.

The platform encompasses a new website, www.enjoyleitrim.com, supported by social media profiles on both Facebook and Twitter.

“We are delighted to officially launch the new brand,” said Leitrim Tourism chairperson Joe Dolan.

“Over the last number of years Leitrim’s tourism industry has competed very effectively both nationally and internationally and the redevelopment of our tourism brand is the most effective way to support our stakeholders in Leitrim tourism and of course the wide variety of visitors who come to Leitrim every year. ”
