ISEQ marginally up
The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed up 10.26 points to 3,099.71 today, a rise of 0.33%.
Among the risers, Icon added €1.13 or 4.95% to €24.00; Aryzta was up 68% to €30.41; Kerry Group gained 45c to €23.25; Paddy Power added 43c to €26.20 and Dragon Oil climbed 33c or 6.61% to €5.32.
On the fallers' board, Kingspan shed 24c to €5.99; Smurfit Kappa was down 12c to €6.97; FBD was also down 12c, to €6.28; DCC slipped 10c to €19.20; Elan Corp shed 8c to €4.14 and Glanbia was down 4c, to €3.25.
Financial stocks were mixed, with AIB up 3c to €1.00 and Irish Life & Permanent adding 10c to €1.83, but Bank of Ireland closing down 2c at €0.83.
