Minister Coughlan opens National Cattle Breeding Centre

A new National Cattle Breeding Centre has been officially opened by the Minister for Agriculture Mary Coughlan.

A new National Cattle Breeding Centre has been officially opened by the Minister for Agriculture Mary Coughlan.

The new centre is the result of a merger of studs and breeding programmes by the Munster Cattle Breeding Society and Progressive Genetics Ireland.

The organisation is based in Enfield, Co Meath, where the bulls will be housed.
