A joint venture decision between the Munster Cattle Breeding Society and Progressive Genetics Ireland to merge their studs and breeding programme has resulted in the development of a new National Cattle Breeding Centre.

A new National Cattle Breeding Centre has been officially opened by the Minister for Agriculture Mary Coughlan.
