DCC completes Shell Direct UK acquisition

Business support services company DCC has announced its energy division has completed the acquisition of the business of Shell Direct UK.

Full details of the €23m transaction were set out in a Stock Exchange announcement in September.

Shell Direct supplies heating oils and transport fuels to domestic and commercial customers in Britain.

DCC is a sales, marketing and support services group focused on the energy, IT, healthcare and food and beverage and environmental markets.

The company is listed on the Irish and London stock exchanges and employs approximately 3,800 people.
