Energia signs deal to power airport

IRELAND WEST AIRPORT in Knock, Co Mayo, has signed a green power deal with Northern Irish energy company, Energia.

Energia signs deal to power airport

The deal will see the power company supply all of the airport’s electricity requirements from renewable power sources and enable the airport to cut its carbon dioxide (co2) emissions by 861 tonnes per year.
