A 49-year-old woman was arrested and brought to court arising out of an investigation into an incident at Turner’s Cross on Monday night.

Garda Paul Lynch arrested Patrycja Sachurka, who lives at an apartment at 34 South Terrace, Cork, and charged her with possession of a sharply pointed object, contrary to the Firearms and Offensive Weapons Act, and causing criminal damage to a house at O’Connell Avenue, Turner’s Cross.

There was no objection to bail at Cork District Court on Tuesday afternoon on condition that she would stay away from the house at the centre of the investigation and have no contact with those living there, directly or indirectly.

On the application of Sergeant John Dineen, Judge David Waters adjourned the case until November 24 for DPP directions.
