ICAI unveils website on ethics

THE Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland has set up a website to inform its members about ethics.

The ICAI said the website would be a point of reference for its members to keep them up-to-date with information if faced with ethical dilemmas.

“Ethics has always been a particularly important element of the training of chartered accountants and its importance has grown as business and accounting has become more complex in recent years,” ICAI chief executive Pat Costello said yesterday.
