Steve Bruce has challenged Newcastle to gatecrash Cristiano Ronaldo’s homecoming party as Manchester United prepare to welcome back their former superstar.

The 36-year-old’s second debut at Old Trafford on Saturday will be the focus of world football this weekend and Bruce’s Magpies have been cast in a supporting role.
