Rain will start off Monday before drier conditions begin to develop in the afternoon, with sunny spells and daytime highs of 14C to 20C.
It will later stay mostly dry on Monday night, with lows of 9C to 13C.
Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle.
It will be a cool day for some, with temperatures of around 11C for the north and around 16C for the south.
It will be colder than the previous night, with lows of 3C to 7C.
Any rain that was lingering will clear, leaving it a dry night.
The N71 is starting to see delays, alongside parts of the N20, the quays in the city centre and Dennehy's Cross.
The N28 is seeing some congestion starting to build between the N40 and Carr's Hill.
Wednesday will be a cool and bright day with plenty of sunshine and highs of 11C to 14C.
Dry weather will continue into the night, with lows of 5C to 10C.
Thursday then will see cloud spread in after a dry morning.
Outbreaks of rain and drizzle will follow, with the heaviest and most persistent in the west and south.
It will be a bit milder during the day with highs of 12C to 15C.
Friday will start off wet and breezy before rain starts to clear southeastwards through the morning and afternoon.
Sunny spells and scattered showers will follow with highs of 13C to 17C.
