Kompany sent off 'for nothing': Mancini

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini remains convinced it would be a travesty of justice if Vincent Kompany failed to win his appeal against the red card he received in Sunday’s FA Cup defeat to Manchester United.

Kompany will learn later today whether he will serve a four-match suspension for his tackle on Nani, which Alex Ferguson felt was dangerous.
