Jones interested in England job

Former Australia coach Eddie Jones last night expressed an interest in replacing Martin Johnson as the next England team manager, just hours after Nick Mallett had ruled himself out of contention for the job.

Johnson decided to stand down after presiding over England's disappointing Rugby World Cup campaign, which ended with a quarter-final defeat to France.
