Southwell meeting delayed

This afternoon’s meeting at Southwell has been delayed due to an accident on the M1.

Track officials have been held up as a result of the crash and the first race has now been moved to 12.35 from 12.10.

Clerk of the course Roderick Duncan said: “We have had to delay the first race as we have officials and horses stuck in traffic due the accident.

“By the time we reach the 2.25 race, hopefully we will have caught up with things.”

The new running order for the first four races on the card are as follows:

12.10 moves to 12.35, 12.40 moves to 1.00, 1.15 moves to 1.30, 1.50 moves to 1.55.
