Gray takes top role at Fairyhouse

Caroline Gray has been appointed manager at Fairyhouse, the home of the Irish Grand National, with immediate effect.

The qualified chartered accountant takes on the role having been manager of the Horseracing Ireland Betting Division since July 2005, prior to which she worked for five years in the HRI/IHA Finance Department.

Gray said: “I look forward to the exciting challenges ahead in bringing Fairyhouse to the next stage of development and delivering a first-class level of service to our racegoers, sponsors and industry professionals.”

HRI chief executive Brian Kavanagh added: “I wish Caroline well in this new position.

“During her time as manager of the HRI Betting Division, Caroline has helped to introduce many progressive innovations in that area and I am sure that she will bring the same approach to Fairyhouse.”
