Rory McIlroy leads Irish challenge at Wentworth despite final-hole distraction

Rory McIlroy is just two shots off the lead following the opening round of the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth.

The former champion carded a five-under par round of 67 today after he found the spark he was looking for with his best ever opening round in the tournament, despite a final hole which was far from picture perfect.
