Estes and Armour strengthen grip

Bob Estes and Tommy Armour III remained atop the leaderboard after they completed today’s second round at the Ginn sur Mer Classic in Florida.

Both golfers completed the second round of this event at five-under 68, moving to 14-under 132 for the tournament.

Inclement weather suspended play with 63 golfers still on the course and play will resume on Saturday at 8am local time.

Sweden’s Daniel Chopra recorded six of his seven birdies on the front nine Friday and is one stroke back at 13 under.

The penultimate event of the season, this tournament is without Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Vijay Singh and several other top golfers.
