Golf: Goosen takes overnight lead in Paris

US Open champion Retief Goosen is the overnight leader at the Lancome Trophy in Paris.

The South African golfer carded an impressive seven-under-par opening-round 64 yesterday to go two shots clear at the top of the leaderboard.

Best of the Irish were Gary Murphy and David Higgins, who both finished on three over par, 10 shots off the pace.
