Saturday’s finals double-header at Páirc Uí Chaoimh has been postponed, the Cork County Board has confirmed.

"Following a meeting, the CCC has decided that today’s Co-Op Superstores Intermediate A and Senior A Hurling Finals are postponed," a statement reads.

"This decision has been made to ensure the safety of all patrons wishing to attend the games."

Both finals had already been rescheduled on Friday evening, moved by an hour due to the weather forecast.

Earlier on Saturday, they were brought forward by a further 30 minutes after a status orange rain warning was issued.

The county board said the games have been rearranged as follows:

Saturday, October 25 – SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh

  • 3pm – PJFC Final: Buttevant vs St. Nick’s
  • 5pm – IAHC Final: Aghabullogue vs Bandon
  • 7pm – SAHC Final: Bride Rovers vs Castlelyons

The Leeside venue is also set to host two other finals on Sunday, including the Premier Senior Hurling Final between Sarsfields and Midleton.
