A section of the N21 between Limerick and Kerry is closed this afternoon following a two-vehicle collision.

The incident occurred on the N21 at Rineroe, Adare, shortly after 2pm.

Gardaí, Limerick Fire and Rescue Service, and paramedics from the National Ambulance Service responded to the scene.

A Garda spokesperson told the Irish Examiner that no injuries had been reported.

“Enquiries are ongoing,” they added.

Motorists have been advised that a section of the road near Adare remains closed following the collision.
