Flourishing Lisgoold have all the signs of a club on the up

Lisgoold face Erin's Own in the Cork Intermediate A hurling final on Saturday. It will be their third county final appearance in the last five seasons.

A third county final appearance in five seasons - each one at a grade higher than the last - is proof enough of Lisgoold’s upwardly mobile status.

There is other evidence too, mind. Plenty of it.
