It was the weekend where the hurling championship came alive, Galway producing an unreal performance to take out Cork and Limerick digging deep, again, to hold off Clare.

But there’s only one place to start down here and that’s Cork’s defeat. Or the manner of it because there’s no getting away from the comparisons to last year’s All-Ireland final. A disaster.
