The first time I saw The Saw Doctors was on 17 December 1988. They were playing support to The Waterboys in the hall in Shinrone, down in south Offaly.

I went down to it with one of my brothers, although I’m not sure how we got there. I’m not sure how we got home either. My brother has been no help in providing any clarification.
