Where does contempt of court begin and end? There has been non-stop coverage of speculative aspects and scenarios attaching to those pronounced innocent of all charges in the Belfast rape trial.
If the public can be allowed to disregard the decisions of courts online through what is called social media, and indeed in some cases mainstream news outlets, then is there any room or even justification for trial by our peers before judge and jury?
